Remembrance Day in Malta

Malta held a Remembrance Day ceremony in the Floriana town, located near Malta’s capital, Valletta on Sunday morning to honor those who died during World War II.

During the ceremony, President George Vella, Prime Minister Robert Abela, and others laid wreaths at the foot of the War Memorial and a low-flying aircraft dropped little memorial day poppies made of paper.
