Residents of Lviv rush to bunkers as sirens sound

In the city of Lviv, sirens sounded once more today. Since the night after the Istanbul-hosted Ukraine-Russia talks, sirens have been sounding in Lviv, forcing people to take in shelters. Residents took shelters waited for a statement that the danger had passed for several minutes. Following the announcement, people left the bunkers.

Maksym Kozytskyi, Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration, said, “I want to warn civilians again, if sirens are sounding, there is danger. Do not neglect your own safety. Follow the applicable rules and take shelter,” he said.

Vova Yaremchuk, who went down to the bunker, expressed her concerns and said, “We found a bunker and we have to stay here. We worry about ourselves and our loved ones. We go down to the bunker at every siren. We want the enemy to leave our lands, and enjoy the life once again like before the Russian invasion.”
