Rioters in Paris crashed a burning car into the house of Paris’ L’Hay-les-Roses Mayor Vincent Jeanbrun after the funeral of Nahel M., who died as a result of the fire opened by the police in France. “Last night has reached a turning point in horror and disgrace. My home and my family were attacked. My determination to protect and serve the Republic is greater than ever. I will not take a step back,” said Vincent after the incident.
Fifty-five people were detained in the clashes that broke out in Marseille and 2,800 people across the country so far, according to the French Interior Ministry.
