A humanoid robot caused a stir during a demonstration in China when it unexpectedly kicked the engineer who developed it. The sudden strike was forceful enough to knock the remote control entirely out of the developer’s hands. Fortunately, the engineer managed to dodge a second attempted kick at the last moment and escaped the incident uninjured.
