A rocket attack was carried out on the US Embassy in the sheltered Green Zone in Iraq’s capital, Baghdad, where government offices and foreign missions are located, local media reported. Two rockets were neutralized by the air defense system C-RAM deployed in the US Embassy building. The rockets were launched from the al-Dore region in the south of Baghdad.
No casualties have been reported.
