Russia, Azerbaijan, Armenia meet over peace agreement

Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Ceyhun Bayramov and Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a trilateral meeting in Astana, the capital of Kazakhstan. Recalling the ceasefire agreements, Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov made the opening speech of the meeting and said, “Based on the fact that time passes quickly and events develop very quickly, I believe that today is a very appropriate opportunity to talk about this issue and see what we can report to our leaders regarding the implementation of the agreements signed. The issue is the coordination of a peace agreement, in addition to agreements on the prevention of economic, transport and communication, through the creation of a bilateral commission between Azerbaijan and Armenia, under the supervision of Russia.”
