Detentions continue for those who have any relations with the Crimean Tatar Assembly, which is considered a banned organization by Russia. Five Crimean citizens were detained by the Russian Intelligence Service (SBU). People hold a demonstration against the detentions in the city of Sevastopol. Tensions rose in the region as more than 45 people were detained during the demonstration.
Among those detained are names such as the President of the Crimean Congress, Zair Smedlyayev, and the Crimean Parliament Member Lemmar Yunusov.
