Russia detains Ukrainian man over planned bomb attack

Russian Federal Security Service said that a Ukrainian person, an employee of the Security Service of Ukraine, who was planning to carry out a bomb attack on the Crimean electricity grid, was detained. “A Ukrainian citizen born in 1978 who works for the Ukraine Security Service was detained. Three high explosives, the explosive’s instruction manual, and a map showing the location of the power units in Crimea were seized during the operation,” the statement said.

The detained person will be brought to court and tried for planning a terrorist attack and possessing explosive bombs, reports said.
