Ukraine said Russia carried out its biggest air attack of the month, launching 574 drones and 40 missiles overnight. One person was killed and 18 injured, with heavy damage reported in Lviv and Mukachevo.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said missiles also struck an American-invested civilian business in Zakarpattia, calling it proof Russia targets ordinary infrastructure. He urged tougher global sanctions, saying Moscow shows no real intent to end the war.
