Russia carried out attacks on Ukraine’s capital Kyiv last night, and on the Ukrainian cities of Kharkov, Rivne and Makiivka. The attacks were carried out with both missiles and warplanes. Rvine Regional State Administration President Vitaliy Koval said in a statement on his social media account, “Our weapons resisted 3 missiles. However, information about civilian casualties, damage and injuries due to the 4th missile is being clarified.”
Rockets were also fired at Makiivka, a Ukrainian city in the Donbass region. The ongoing attacks have yet to receive an official statement. It was also discovered that rocket attacks were launched on the Donetsk city of Slovyansk. Kharkov, the target of the most Russian attacks, was also bombarded with warplanes and missiles. While the attacks in Kharkov are still ongoing, local media reports that missiles have struck some residential areas.
