Russia Marks Victory Day Against Nazis

Russia made an appearance during ceremony for the May 9 Victory Day, which marks the victory against Nazi Germany in the Second World War, held in the Red Square in the capital Moscow. Nine thousand soldiers performed 70 parades and the T-34 tank in the Second World War and modern weapons were exhibited. Additionally, warplanes of the Russian Air Force performed a demonstration over of the Kremlin.

Leaders of countries such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Cuba, Laos and the Republic of Guinea-Bissau also attended the ceremony.
