Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sanchez met with President of Ukraine Zelensky in Kiev, where he came to discuss the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The two leaders held a press conference after the meeting.
Saying that the Ukrainian Intelligence had informed him, Zelenskiy said that he was technically ready to carry out a local explosion at the Zaporizhzhia Nuclear Power Plant occupied by Russia. Reminding that Russian troops have carried out explosions at the power plant before, Zelensky called for international attention to the situation and the imposition of sanctions on Rosatom State Nuclear Energy Company in Russia.
The Spanish leader announced that he will provide Ukraine with an additional 55 million euros in financial aid to fix its economy and support small businesses.
