Russia Repels Massive UAV Attack by Ukraine

The Russian Ministry of Defense reported intercepting 121 Ukrainian drones targeting 13 regions, including Moscow, in a large-scale UAV attack. Air defense systems destroyed 20 UAVs in Ryazan, 6 in Moscow, and others near border regions. No details were provided on damage from the intercepted drones.

Ukraine claimed responsibility for hitting an oil refinery in Ryazan and the “Kremniy” microelectronics plant in Bryansk. Social media footage showed fires and thick smoke at the sites.

In retaliation, Russia launched a UAV attack on Kyiv, killing 3 people and injuring 1. Ukraine’s Air Force stated that 25 of the 58 drones launched by Russia were successfully intercepted.
