Ongoing mutual attacks between Russia and Ukraine have left two people dead following a recent Russian airstrike on the capital city of Kyiv. The barrage caused widespread damage to numerous city buildings and commercial warehouses. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko confirmed the casualties, stating that the attack sparked a fire in a garage where “the bodies of two people were recovered.” Meanwhile, regional authorities reported further destruction in southeastern Ukraine, where separate strikes damaged an industrial facility in Dnipro, transport infrastructure in Zaporizhzhia, and apartment buildings in Kremenchuk.
