Russia-Ukraine War: 10 Dead in Kyiv Strikes

At least 10 people, including a child, were killed and 38 injured in overnight Russian drone and missile strikes on Kyiv that lasted over nine hours. Ukraine said 563 drones and 26 missiles were intercepted, but residential areas were hit.

In retaliation, the Ukrainian military struck oil refineries in Russia’s Krasnodar and Samara regions. Moscow claimed 102 Ukrainian drones were shot down. President Zelenskyy condemned the attacks, saying Russia “prefers ballistics over diplomacy” and urged tougher sanctions, stressing that “Russia must feel responsibility for every blow, every day of this war.”
