Russian Airport Raided After Landing of Israeli Passengers

Following the landing of an Israeli passenger plane in Russia’s Dagestan, hundreds of people stormed Makhachkala Airport in reaction to Israel’s attacks on the Gaza Strip. Many Israelis at the scene were taken to a safe place after the incident. The Russian Federal Air Transport Agency announced that Makhachkala Airport will remain closed to flights until the situation normalizes.

The Israeli Prime Minister and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that they expected Russian forces to protect Israeli citizens and act decisively against attacks on Jews and Israelis.
