Russian Airstrikes Kill Six in Ukraine

At least six people were killed in Russian airstrikes on Ukraine as Moscow intensified its large-scale attacks. Two people died in a drone strike on Zaporizhia, while a missile strike on a hotel in Kryvyi Rih killed four and injured 16 others. The attack also caused significant damage to shops, buildings, and vehicles. Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported that Russia launched at least 127 missiles and 109 drones, with Ukrainian forces intercepting the majority. Western leaders condemned the assault, with U.S. President Joe Biden calling it “outrageous” and UK Foreign Secretary David Lammy labeling it “cowardly.”
