Russian Attack Hits Turkish LPG Vessel in Ukraine’s Izmail Port

Russian forces struck the Turkish vessel ORINDA, which was carrying about 4,000 tons of LPG and docked at Izmail Port in Ukraine’s Odesa region. The ship caught fire, prompting Romanian authorities to evacuate residents in the nearby village of Plauru due to explosion risk.

Russia also targeted a DTEK-owned power plant in Odesa, cutting electricity to 36,500 households. Officials said power was partially restored to 4,000 homes, while repairs for the remaining 32,500 will take significant time.
