Russian cosmonauts Oleg Kononenko and Nikolai Chub carried out an 8-hour spacewalk from the International Space Station to install hardware in the Nauka module. Despite a slight delay in deploying the satellite system, they successfully installed communication equipment. The nanosatellite system installation will be addressed in a future spacewalk. This marked Kononenko’s sixth spacewalk and Chub’s first. Additionally, NASA astronauts Loral O’Hara and Jasmin Moghbeli are scheduled for a spacewalk on October 30, expected to last about 6.5 hours.
