Russian film director, actor leave for first film shooting to space

Russia has launched spacecraft Soyuz MS-19 carrying Russian film director Klim Shipenko and actor Yulia Peresildi, in a historic first to film a movie in orbit. Soyuz MS-19 was launched from Baikonur cosmodrome in Kazakhstan set off for the International space station (ISS). During the 12-day-trip to orbit, both filmmaker and actor to film segments of a new movie named “Challenge” played by Yulia Peresild who’s traveling to space for rescuing a crew member who’s a sever heart condition.

Actor Peresild in a press conference held at Baikonur facility said “it’s once in a life time opportunity.”
