Russian Missile Attack in Ukraine Kills 8, Including Mother and Child

The Russian army has bombarded Kyiv and other parts of Ukraine with more than 20 cruise missiles and two unmanned aerial vehicles, according to a statement issued by the Kyiv municipal administration. Eleven cruise missiles and unmanned aerial vehicles were shot down. Fragments of downed missiles and drones destroyed power lines and a road in a neighborhood.

The Russian army targeted a nine-story building in Uman, roughly 215 kilometers from Kyiv, killing at least six people. In the Dnipro attack, a 31-year-old woman and her 2-year-old daughter died, while four others were injured.
