A Russian missile strike on a residential building in Sumy, northeastern Ukraine, killed 10 people, including two children, and injured 55 others, eight of whom were children. The attack caused extensive damage, burning vehicles and cutting off electricity after another missile hit critical infrastructure.
Vladimir Artyukh, head of the Sumy Military Administration, described the attack as turning the city into “hell.” Emergency services evacuated over 400 residents from the affected area.
