Russian Oligarch’s Illegal Villa in Istanbul Under Investigation Boris Borisenko

The illegal construction of a villa in Üsküdar, Türkiye, previously linked to criminal leader Adnan Oktar and now owned by Russian oligarch Boris Borisenko, has come under scrutiny. Drone footage revealed ongoing activity at the site, with workers and construction equipment visible despite a halt order by the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization, and Climate Change.

The villa, located in the Vaniköy Forecast Area in Istanbul, was flagged for violating zoning regulations. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç announced an investigation into “causing zoning pollution.” Images showed the villa covered in tarpaulin, rubble packed in sacks, and ongoing work despite legal actions. Authorities continue to monitor the site closely.
