A Russian passenger plane traveling from Sharm El Sheikh to Kaliningrad made an emergency landing in Poznan, Poland, due to a snowstorm. After failed landing attempts in Kaliningrad, the pilot requested to land in Warsaw but was denied permission.
The 236 passengers, including elderly individuals, children, and pregnant women, were kept on board for over 13 hours without food or water. Polish authorities also refused refueling. The plane was finally allowed to take off in the morning, prompting backlash from passengers on social media. Restrictions on Russian travelers entering Poland remain in place due to the Ukraine-Russia war.
