At least 21 people were killed in a Russian attack on the village of Yarova in Ukraine’s Donetsk region, Governor Vadym Filashkin said. He accused Russia of targeting civilians waiting in pension queues, calling the strike “direct terrorism.”
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the attack, urging the US, Europe, and the G20 to respond with stronger measures against Moscow. Yarova lies just 9 kilometers from the front line near Sloviansk.
