Russian Tourists Flock to Türkiye’s Resorts

Increasing cooperation between Türkiye and Russia in economic and political spheres has positively impacted tourism. Russian tourists are drawn to Türkiye’s natural beauty, coastal attractions, historical sites, and culture. Cities like Antalya, Muğla, and Istanbul are popular destinations. Furthermore, the establishment of a maritime border gate in 2021 has allowed Russian tourists to visit Bartın’s Amasra district via cruise ships. In just 13 months, Amasra has welcomed over 16,000 Russian tourists who are enchanted by its scenic beauty, rich history, and culture. Amasra has swiftly become a favored destination for Russians due to its sea voyages.
