The Astoria Grande cruise ship, accompanied by 898 Russian tourists and a total crew of 1,336 people, docked at Samsun Port after a hiatus of three months. Departing from Amasra and resuming its tours, the ship made its second visit to Samsun on this journey, having last visited on January 18. The tourists, who had explored various Turkish provinces since departing from Sochi Port in Russia, expressed excitement about visiting Samsun again, citing the city’s beauty and their plans to shop for gifts and explore historical sites. Going forward, the cruise ship is scheduled to visit Samsun every two weeks, departing in the evening for Trabzon after its day in Samsun.
