Russian troops leaving from Crimea after their military exercise

Russian troops in Crimea are returning back to their home bases after the exercises carried out in areas close to the Ukrainian border. In a statement made by the Russian Ministry of Defence (MO), it was announced that the first military convoy from the Southern Military District (SMD) has left Crimea. Ministry of Defence also shared the footage of the moments when troops and military equipment passed through the Crimean Bridge.

“An automobile column of the combat service support unit of the Southern Military District overcame the first section of the march along the Tavrida highway and drove along the Crimean bridge, heading to the point of permanent deployment after the planned exercises. The column is accompanied by cars of the military traffic police throughout the march,” Ministry of Defence said.
