Russian UAV crashes into Turkey’s Gümüşhane

A Russian Orlan-10 UAV crashed into a mountainous area in the Kürtün district of Gümüşhane, Turkey. Residents who went to collect mushrooms found the UAV. The security forces dispatched to the region determined that the UAV with a wingspan of approximately 3 meters is a Russian-made unarmed reconnaissance Orlan-10 model. The UAV with a range of 1,400 kilometers is thought to have arrived in this region on its own after the signal from the Ukraine or Syria regions was lost due to the war.

The UAV, which was taken from the scene by the security forces, was sent to Ankara for examination.
