Sabotage Leaves Parts of Berlin Without Power for Four Days

More than 25,000 households in southwestern Berlin, Germany, remain without electricity four days after a sabotage attack on power lines, authorities said. The blackout initially affected around 45,000 homes and 2,200 businesses, with emergency generators and support from the German armed forces deployed. With temperatures dropping to minus 11 degrees Celsius, residents are struggling with heating, hot water, and cooking as most systems rely on electricity. Local media said the blackout is the longest in Berlin since World War II.
