Salt Cave Therapy in Türkiye Brings Relief to Patients

In Çankırı, Türkiye, COPD and asthma patients underwent 15 days of salt therapy in a cave 150 meters underground, originally used by the Hittites. Part of the “A Stronger Breath Project,” patients engaged in various activities, including arts and physical exercise, while exposed to the salt-rich air for 4-6 hours daily.

Patients reported significant health improvements, with one participant, Ahmet Uz, noting his improved breathing and mobility. Another patient, Nursel Sümer, expressed gratitude for the therapy, stating she arrived in poor condition but left feeling much healthier.
