Security measures reduced in Kyiv

The barricades on the roads leading to Freedom Square in Kyiv, Ukraine’s capital, were removed as security measures were reduced. The square, which has been restored to its pre-war state, has seen a return of vehicle traffic. Ukrainians have returned to the streets in the city, where public transportation has begun to be used again. Checkpoints were also removed in many areas of Kyiv.
