Selçuk Bayraktar flew MiG-29 fighter jet in Azerbaijan

T3 Foundation Chairman of the Board of Trustees and Baykar Technology Leader Selçuk Bayraktar, who came to Baku to participate in “Teknofest Aerospace and Technology Festival” (TEKNOFEST) Azerbaijan, flew with the Russian-made Mikoyan MiG-29 fighter jet belonging to the Azerbaijan Air Force. The MiG-29, which Bayraktar flew, carried out an formation flight with Bayraktar AKINCI Unmanned Combat Aerial Vehicle (UCAV), which was developed nationally and originally by Baykar. Selçuk Bayraktar performed the flight together with the Deputy Commander of the Azerbaijan Air Forces Combat Forces, Air Pilot Colonel Zaur Rustamov. Prior to the flight at Haydar Aliyev International Airport in Baku, Selçuk Bayraktar and Colonel Zaur Rüstemov boarded the double-cabin MiG-29 after receiving a briefing from SoloTürk’s first pilot, the Turkish Ministry of National Defense (MSB) Coordinator Air Pilot Colonel Murat Keleş. Meanwhile, the flight of Colonel Zaur Rustemov and Selçuk Bayraktar took about 1 hour.
