The Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) separatist organization in Pakistan reportedly killed at least 10 of the passengers it took hostage on a Quetta-Peshawar passenger train in the Bolan region yesterday.
In the operation launched by security forces, 13 militants were neutralized and a total of 80 hostages, including 26 women and 11 children, were rescued. The operation to rescue the other hostages continues, and those rescued were sent to the hospital for treatment.
It is estimated that the train was carrying approximately 450 passengers, while it is not yet known how many people the attackers held hostage.
