serbians take to street to protest violence again

Serbian demonstrators gathered in front of the National Assembly building in Belgrade to reiterate their demands, including the cancellation of violent media, the resignation of the Serbian Radio and Television management and the Broadcasting Supervisory Board, and the dismissal of Interior Minister Bratislav Gasic and Intelligence Agency Director Aleksandar Vulin. Journalist Smiljan Banjac, emphasizing that the government did not take any responsibility for the attacks, said, “We are calling you from here for the last time. Next time, we will take more concrete steps.” The Presidential Office stated that President Aleksandar Vucic would address the nation tomorrow.

A total of 18 people lost their lives in the armed attacks on May 3 and 5 in Serbia.
