Seven people were found dead after an ambulance aircraft crashed in Ranchi, Jharkhand state, eastern India, authorities said. India’s Directorate General of Civil Aviation confirmed that two of the victims were crew members.
The plane had requested a route change at 19:11 local time due to bad weather before losing contact and disappearing from radar. An investigation into the cause of the crash has been launched.
