Seventy Palestinian prisoners, who were convicted of the most serious crimes, were deported to Egypt after being released by Israel as part of the first phase of the ceasefire agreement yesterday.
Egyptian authorities announced that the Palestinians will be transferred to the capital, Cairo.
Israel released 200 Palestinian prisoners. Of the freed Palestinians, 114 were freed in the West Bank, while 16 were sent to Gaza.
