Ships overcrowd Istanbul’s Marmara Sea

The density of ships anchoring off Istanbul’s Marmara Sea in Turkey has made it nearly impossible to see the horizon. The density in the area where approximately 200 ships are anchored grows by the day. Most of the ships in the area are no longer in use as their contracts with companies have not been renewed. Personnel living on ships use taxi boats to travel to the city center.

The ships were viewed by a drone from the air.
