A bear named Okan from a zoo in Çekmeköy, Istanbul, was taken to Istanbul University’s Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Veterinary Medicine after falling ill from eating fruit that irritated his stomach. The bear underwent an MRI and received treatment before being returned to the zoo.
Footage of the treatment, shared on social media, showed that Okan had experienced similar symptoms three years ago.
