Silk Road Peace Rally Reaches Cappadocia on 19,000km Journey to Nepal

The East-West Friendship and Silk Road Rally has reached the stunning landscapes of Cappadocia, Turkey, as part of a massive 19,000-kilometer cross-continental journey. Setting off from Germany, the international convoy of modern vehicles is retracing the historic trade route across 19 countries before ultimately concluding in Nepal. Participants took a well-deserved break among the region’s famous fairy chimneys, capturing photos and exploring its rich UNESCO-listed heritage. Organizers emphasize that the month-and-a-half-long expedition serves as a powerful bridge between East and West, designed to break down cultural prejudices and promote global peace. The diverse team of adventurers will now continue their eastward trek through Turkey’s ancient sites before crossing into Iran and Central Asia.
