Explosions were heard early in the morning in the Ukrainian port city of Mikolaiv, which was under attack by Russia. Russian air elements were targeted after the city’s air defense systems were activated in the aftermath of the explosions. An air raid warning was issued throughout the city, and sirens began to resound.
Authorities warned the public not to approach the windows and to take shelters.
