Citizens and members of social society organizations gathered in Türkiye’s Tekirdağ province and staged a sit-in protest for Palestinians under Israeli attacks. The group opened banners with expressions such as “Freedom for Gaza” and “Down with Israel” and demanded a ceasefire.
“Gaza has been under a brutal blockade for 17 years and has been facing genocidal attacks for the last 5 months. Israel massacred civilians, mostly women and children. Schools, hospitals, places of worship and living spaces were destroyed. Tens of thousands of people were displaced. It is very difficult for those who survived. The situation in Palestine is getting worse every day,” the speaker said.
