Six fishermen, one Taiwanese and five Indonesian, were rescued by the Taiwan Airborne Service Association (NASC) in a helicopter operation after their boat caught fire 180 kilometers northeast of Taiwan at around 08:00 local time yesterday. The fishermen managed to escape the burning boat on an inflatable boat and called for help.
