slovak woman falls on railway track

A 73-year-old woman in Trnava, Slovakia, lost her balance while attempting to board a moving train and fell into the gap between the station and the carriage. The footage showing the incident was published by the Slovak police. In the footage, one of the two women attempting to catch the train, which is about to depart, is seen boarding the carriage, while the other woman loses her balance and falls into the gap. An ambulance taken her to the hospital and the woman reported to be in good condition. The woman was fined €500.

Authorities stated that the door of the train was closed and that the first woman trying to catch the train opened the door by pressing the button. Trnava police department stated that after examining the footage, the engine driver was not guilty of the incident and that it was forbidden to get on the train after the train started to move.
