Due to heavy snowfall and blizzard on the roads located in the high parts, the snow depth exceeded the height of the heavy equipments in Yüksekova district center of Hakkari city, Turkey. Also, snow depth reached up to 6 meters in the district. Meanwhile, General Directorate of Highways 117th Yüksekova Branch Chief’s teams continuing to snow ploughing efforts nonstop for the opening of closed roads. After teams’ efforts day and night, the opened roads almost resembled the tunnels. While those who saw the tunnel-like roads couldn’t hide their astonishment, some residents took the photo of interesting incident.
