Snowfall Turns Cappadocia’s Fairy Chimneys White in Türkiye

Heavy snowfall in Cappadocia, one of Türkiye’s top tourist destinations, transformed the region’s fairy chimneys and valleys into a postcard-like winter landscape. The snow-covered rock formations and historic sites, listed as a UNESCO World Heritage site, were captured from the air.

Visitors in Göreme, Uçhisar and Ortahisar walked through the snow-filled valleys and took photos. Tourists said Cappadocia is beautiful in every season, but its winter scenery offers a unique charm.
