South Korea Floods and Landslides Kill 4, Leave 1 Missing

 

Heavy rains in South Korea have triggered floods and landslides, resulting in at least four deaths and one person missing. Local authorities reported that in South Chungcheong province, one person died in a flooded elevator shaft and another when their house collapsed due to a landslide. In North Gyeongsang province, one individual was swept away by floodwaters, and another died after falling into an overflowing stream with their vehicle. Additionally, in North Chungcheong province, one person living in a container is missing, with search efforts ongoing.
