The fires, which began on March 21 in South Gyeongsang and North Gyeongsang provinces, continue to spread, reaching the coastal areas of the East Sea. Efforts to control the blaze in Uiseong and Ulju are ongoing, with military support. Power and water outages have been reported in Andong and Yeongdeok.
