Southeast Asia Floods Push Death Toll to 295

 

Severe monsoon floods and landslides across South and Southeast Asia have killed 295 people.

Indonesia reported 93 deaths, including major losses in North and West Sumatra. Thailand’s toll reached 144, affecting more than 3.6 million people.

Sri Lanka reported 56 deaths, widespread flooding, and suspended government services. Malaysia confirmed two deaths and evacuated over 34,000 people as heavy rains continued.
