Soyuz MS-23 Launches to Rescue Stranded Astronauts

The Soyuz MS-23 spacecraft has been launched successfully from Kazakhstan by the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos). The spacecraft is expected to dock with the International Space Station (ISS) in two days, bringing back the three astronauts who were stranded there due to a malfunction caused by a meteorite hitting their previous spacecraft. The launch will also deliver 430kg of supplies to the ISS.
